Veterinary Services
Medical
We provide comprehensive medical care for all aspects of your pet's health with emphasis on preventative and geriatric medicine.
Surgical
We perform a wide variety of soft tissue and orthopedic procedures, as well as the routine elective procedures, such as spaying and neutering. Procedures may be scheduled Monday through Friday, depending on our case load and the type of procedure. We also offer Microchip ID implanting. While a microchip can be implanted at anytime, the ideal time for this valuable, and potentially lifesaving procedure, is when your pet is already asleep for a routine procedure such as a spay, neuter or dental cleaning.
Dental
We routinely perform prophylactic dental cleanings, as well as necessary extractions and some oral surgery.
Diagnostic
We have an in-house laboratory capable of performing routine diagnostic testing, including pre-anesthetic and comprehensive blood profiles, parasite exams and screens, and cytological analysis. Diagnostic radiographs (X-ray films) are provided by our in-house radiology unit and processor. We also have electronic equipment for assessing intraocular pressures (within the eye) and general blood pressure readings.
Pharmaceutical
We have a complete array of veterinary pharmaceuticals within our pharmacy, including heartworm preventative and flea control products.
Boarding
We offer boarding for dogs, cats and small, exotic pets. All pets are housed within our clinic in climate controlled areas. All dogs are walked three times daily (twice on Sunday). There are separate areas for dogs and cats. Pets requiring medication or treatment while with us are welcome. We can also provide quarantined boarding if that is required.
Grooming
We offer grooming for just about all breeds, including breed-specific cuts, as well as full-shave downs, summer cuts, puppy cuts and simple baths with brushouts. Our groomers are long-time employees of WCAC, not independent contractors. They are always here for consistency and quality service.
Pet Foods and Supplies
We carry a complete line of maintenance and prescription diets, including Science Diet, Hill’s Prescription Diet, Eukanuba and Royal Canine Diet products. We also carry a supply of leashes, collars and other pet supplies.
